The .455 Webley MKII is a British revolver cartridge designed for their military in the late 1800's. This brass will work for all of the Webley MKII, MKIII,MKIV, MKV, and MKVI cartridges. The original MKI case is longer, but this will work as a short substitute for it. It is important to note that the Webley cartridges designations don't necessarily coincide with that model revolver, and smokless powder loads may not be safe in all revolvers.

*It is important to note that many Webley revolvers in the US have been modified to use the much thicker rimmed .45 Auto Rim cartridge by machining the cylinder to accept the thicker rims. Firearms modified as such will not work with standard .455 MKII brass.

I was so happy to find that Starline had started manufacturing the 455 Webley! For years I have been babying a small batch of converted brass and a handful of original Fiocchi cases. Now I am in hog heaven loading up a bunch of the classic 265 grain RN profile and even some of the hollowpoint manstopper loads... in batches of hundreds at a time. Not just 50 or 70 at a time. Now I just have to find the time to shoot more.

Glad to see Starline offering Webley .455 brass. Just received my first 250 and they look and measure terrific. Will be ordering more...

Such a shame you made the Mk 2 case instead of the Mk 1, it's easy to trim a case to Mk2, but damn hard to lengthen to a Mk 1 !! and Mk 1 cases shoot so much better in the new Service target models and will chamber in the Webley's.
