Designed to achieve .44 Magnum ballistics from a semi-automatic pistol, this caliber became famous by Clint Eastwood in Sudden Impact. Gun system was designed by the late Harry Sanford and was produced under several names such as A.M.T., Automag Inc., and High Standard.
* Starline Brass does not sell any loaded ammunition. What you are purchasing are brass cases only and will need to be loaded into ammunition in order to be fired from a firearm.
I got 500 rounds of SBR ammo loaded with Starline brass, then bought another 500 rounds of brass direct from Starline. I converted those 500 rounds to 357 Auto Mag (simply necked-down 44 Auto Mag). Even though the guns are violent, the brass has held up extremely well after multiple loadings. Not one case has failed! Excellent!

Have wanted an AutoMag for years and finally got one. also had 500 rds of Starline brass with it and this stuff is a dream. Phenominally consistant and uniform. Didn't even have to size it, just bell the neck, prime, charge and seat a slug. Wish I could get some more of the nickle brass but looks like it is OOP.
