I received my grandpas Colt SAA .41 Long Colt. It was made in 1903. It still shoots really good thanks to Starline. I have used Starline brass in several other calibers and it has proved to be very consistent. I have found it to be more consistent than several brand names and very well made. By the way, I loaded the .41 Long Colt with FFFg powder as that is what it was made for and it shoots great. There was not as much smoke as I thought there would be. I wish that Starline would make another run of this brass as I have some new bullets that I want to try out.

Starline is probably the only current source of this caliber brass. That notwithstanding, having loaded the older Winchester and R-P cases where I could find them, the Starline cases are excellent! Dimensions are consistant and fit both older (Colt SA) guns and newer guns (Cimarron Model P Jr) perfectly. Great way to get those old 41's belching smoke again...!
