#2520 - 30 Carbine Brass
.30 M1 CARBINE
1.283 - 1.286 O.A.L.
Designed for use by the U.S. military as a light carbine in the 1940's, the .30 Carbine was used in the venerable M1 Carbine and the full auto M2 version. The gun of choice for many soldiers in WWII, the M1 is still very popular today. Ruger also offers the .30 Carbine in their popular Blackhawk revolver and new M1's are available from Auto-Ordnance.
**WARNING** In firearms that use a floating firing pin (such as the AR-15 and its variants), dropping the bolt on a chambered round could lead to a slam fire. It is important that these firearms are loaded from the magazine so that the bolt loses inertia when it strips a round from the magazine. It is also important NOT to use sensitive primers that aren't designed for use in an AR, as this increases the chance of a slam fire.

I rarely buy new brass. I scrounge and/or form most of what I need. But there are those times when new brass is the only answer. That's when I turn to Starline. Exceptional quality and very fair prices. This last order of .30 carbine was typical. Exacting specs. My 1944 Underwood loves them.

I reload primarily for my .30 carbine Blackhawk. This brass has NEVER stuck in a chamber. The consistent quality is the reason I'm willing to pay extra. Great product.

Thank you for another excellent product. I'm impressed with the weight and wall consistentcy of the brass. It runs through loading process and both of the carbines flawlessly.
