The .270 Winchester has been around nearly a century and has become just as popular as its parent cartridge, the .30-06. Chambered by almost every major firearm manufacturer with a hunting rifle in their lineup, the 270 Winchester has made quite a name for itself as a big game caliber in North America. In fact, it was a favorite cartridge of Starline Brass founder Frank Snow for elk hunting. It also acts as a great varmint caliber when loaded with the lighter 90-110 grain bullets that are available.

very nice brass. i ordered 250 .270 win. i received 252. it was very consistent in length and weight. weight was mostly within 0.1 grain. excluding one that was .6 of a grain heavier. which was not bad at all in my opinion. there were no creased shoulders like i have with another manufacturer.
