This brass is the same as our standard .223 Remington brass except that it has not been formed and has no caliber designation on the headstamp. It should work perfectly for most .223 Remington based wildcats. This brass has not been annealed, and will require a body anneal prior to forming, and possibly a neck anneal after forming, depending on how far it is necked down. Wall thickness at the mouth of this brass is approximately .009", which is the same as our .223 brass prior to forming (the walls will get thicker when formed down, and the case will also get longer). Length is approximately 1.800"

*Since this is a basic case, and Starline has no control over how it is formed, we accept no liability and offer no warranty in its use or your inability to properly form cases. We also recommend keeping pressures within SAAMI limits of the parent case. Since this case has not been formed there may be more out-of-round mouths than normal.

Calibers that this could possibly be formed into: 6mm TCU, 6.5 TCU, 7mm TCU, 6x45mm, .25-45 Sharps, 6mm Mongoose, 7.62x40WT, 7Raptor, .357 MAX AR, etc.

**WARNING** In firearms that use a floating firing pin (such as the AR-15 and its variants), dropping the bolt on a chambered round could lead to a slam fire. It is important that these firearms are loaded from the magazine so that the bolt loses inertia when it strips a round from the magazine. It is also important NOT to use sensitive primers that aren’t designed for use in an AR, as this increases the chance of a slam fire.

Used to make 357AR (357Max-Rimless) in one step with a trimmer set up with .355" reamer pilot. Trimmed to max case length (they'll shrink a few thousands once fire formed) deburred and loaded. Much easier than expanding 223/5.56 Shot great and will be ordering more.

I purchased 250 from the first lot available, shipping was fast and the brass looks awesome. I'm using these to make .357AR brass; so much easier and more consistent than converting GI 5.56x45mm brass into straight-wall cases 1.605" long. The .357AR another wildcat being sponsored/offered by MDWS.
