#4850 - 6.5 Creedmoor Brass
6.5mm CM, 6.5mm Creedmoor
1.908 - 1.912 O.A.L.
The 6.5 Creedmoor was designed as a target caliber in 2007 by Hornady but has become an extremely popular hunting caliber as well. While it isn't as long as some of the other 6.5 caliber short action calibers, such as the .260 Remington, the Creedmoor utilizes a 30° shoulder and very little body taper to help it achieve similar ballistics. The shorter length also gives it more versatility as far as bullet seating depth is concerned. Almost every major rifle company offers either a bolt-action rifle or a modern sporting rifle in the 6.5 Creedmoor due to its versatility and inherent accuracy.
Our 6.5 Creedmoor brass uses a Large Rifle Primer. This is the standard for this round and it is what many prefer due to its reliable ignition no matter what temperature you are shooting in or the burn rate of your powder.
For the Small Rifle Primer version, please see our
SR 6.5 CM case.

The Complete 6.5 Creedmoor Starline Cartridge Guide.
**WARNING** In firearms that use a floating firing pin (such as the AR-15 and its variants), dropping the bolt on a chambered round could lead to a slam fire. It is important that these firearms are loaded from the magazine so that the bolt loses inertia when it strips a round from the magazine. It is also important NOT to use sensitive primers that aren't designed for use in an AR, as this increases the chance of a slam fire.

This brass is some of the finest most consistent brass I have ever used. I regularly get 10 loadings with this brass without annealing.

Just received my 250 cases of 6.5 Creedmoor large primer. I received 252 cases total. Neck sized the first 50 and they look good. I used my primer pocket uniformer and no brass had to be removed. Primer pockets are excellent. Shipping was speedy and arrived two days before scheduled delivery. I've ordered 223 and 308 previously and the brass has been outstanding.

Consistent weights and lengths pre-prep! Heavier than competition. I will be buying many more for all my calibers.

Was In Sedalia, Mo for the GOOD SAM RV State rally and went to the company and took a tour of the place. WOW. They showed me the hole sabang. Was I impressed, I'll say I was. This brass is outstandingly made. I got to see how the brass is drawn, shaped, rim cut, primer pocket made and flash hole made. This is a tour u need to make.

Bought 250 pieces back in the spring of this year. Case to case weight uniformity was impecable as was primer flash hole uniformaty. After 5 reloads the case neck thickness has retained it's measure from new. I have not had to trim a single case as of yet. I use a Lee collet neck size die and a Lee factory crimp die during reloading and the cases are performing as match grade brass would be expected to perform. I'm very satisfied with their performance as well as Starline customer service. Outstanding job Starline! Highly recommended!

Very nice looking brass. Resized, trimmed, chamfered the necks, and deburred the flash holes. Yes there were burrs in the flash holes. Just a basic brass prep. I do this to all my (new to me) brass. Once and done.
