Unprimed Brass Cases
.358 WINCHESTER (Large Rifle primer)8.8x51mm
2.003 - 2.008 O.A.L.
Based on the .308 Winchester, the .358 Winchester was introduced by Winchester in 1955 for use in lever and bolt-action rifles. While it had not seen the widespread popularity as the other .308 -based cartridges, its brush busting capability still makes it an excellent choice for hunting any of North America's big game. With the recent rise in popularity of AR-10 style rifles, the .358 Winchester is starting to be chambered in it because the .358 gives the AR-10 just a little more thump than the .308 Winchester.
*Starline Brass does not sell any loaded ammunition. What you are purchasing are brass cases only and will need to be loaded into ammunition in order to be fired from a firearm.

I shoot a Savage 99F chambered in .358 Winchester. This brass is heavier with thicker walls than Winchester factory brass and does not exhibit much of an expansion ring, meaning that it doesn't need small base sizing for the brass to be reused in my gun. I have reloaded my first 20 cases 8 times so far and have had no problems. I was never able to get more than 4 reloads with factory brass before the necks cracked. Great brass. Now, if Starline would only make .250 Savage brass, I would buy a supply that would last through my grandkids' lifetimes and beyond!
